Like many people, we spend a lot of time on the internet looking for information, and that’s especially true when shopping for a new home.  We’ve discovered a website with a feature we’ve never seen on any other internet based home search tool.

Want to explore all the homes for sale in a particular neighborhood?  Look below at how we used this map to zoom in on Marianna Butte to look for all homes listed between $275,000 and $350,000.  When the mouse rolls over the red icons, a picture and some brief information on the home appears.  For more detailed information on the home, just click on the house.

Oh, and see the blue icons?  Those are homes that have sold.  This website pulls all the data from county records to account for all home sales– including For Sale By Owners.  When the mouse rolls over the blue icon, basic information about the sold home and its sales price appears.  Now that’s neat!

And that just scratches the surface of the capabilities of this system.  Want to know when the price on a property your interested in is reduced?  They’ll send you an email automatically.  This website is live data from the local MLS, so the listings are never out of date.   Sorry, it’s for Northern Colorado only!
